I’m at Altitude Design Summit this week and thought it would be fun to do a giveaway for one of the pieces I’ll be using at the conference. Cleobella, a design studio and fashion line founded and run by Angela O’Brien, is the name behind some of my favorite jewelry, bags, wallets and home decor items. Their items are earthy, but have just the right amount of glitz. Although they have been around for a few years and have been a celebrity favorite for some time, they opened their first retail store last year in Sunset Beach (conveniently located on my way to and from work).
They have generously agreed to do a giveaway for their Mexicana Painted Wallet. I’ll be using this wallet as a business card holder all week at Alt. I love the gold color, but you can choose whichever you’d like. The wallet is hand tooled in Bali and is both functional and artistic. Check out this incredible video to learn more about Cleobella.

This line captures so many beautiful parts of the world and brings them into your wardrobe and home.
Angela, the designer, also happens to be one of my oldest friends. It has been so rewarding to watch her create such beautiful products that creates jobs for artisans in lesser developed areas of the world and at the same time reflects the beautiful life she has created for her and her family. Although we don’t get together nearly as often as we should, I love ‘seeing’ her everyday in my house and closet. We used to torture our younger siblings (we’re both the oldest) by forcing them into productions of Littler Mermaid or whichever Disney movie we were into at the time. Ang was always in charge of the costume design (made of the finest quality grocery bags and markers). She has been a creator of beautiful things for as long as I can remember.
